The construction of the extension floors of the Legislative Council Complex commenced in 2022. The expanded LegCo Complex are put into operation by the end of 2024 to accommodate users of additional offices.

In addition to adding 4 service floors to the existing 8 units of lift, 1 unit of brand new lift was also installed. The lift is also equipped with the latest "Destination Control System" (DCS) to enhance efficiency.
