FUJITEC has long been dedicated to recruiting and training apprentices, bringing fresh young talents into the lift & escalator industry and building a positive employer brand. To support this mission, Human Resources Department and Training and Development Department work closely with the Vocational Training Council (VTC), ensuring students can transition smoothly from campus to the workplace.
FUJITEC participated in the following recruitment activities:
1. We arranged a 9-week internship programme for students who enrolled in the Lift and Escalator Stream at VTC. In addition, we hosted career talks on 23 April 2026 at Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Kwai Chung campus) featuring FUJITEC’s current young apprentices to share their firsthand experiences of progressing, from VTC graduates to becoming registered lift / escalators workers at FUJITEC.
2. VTC invited our Company to participate the job fair held at Hong Kong Design Institute on 14 May 2026. To engage students, FUJITEC specially arranged an interactive VR mini-game and activities with students who are currently studying any discipline, with the aim of increasing their interest in the lifts and escalators industry.
FUJITEC believes that our collaboration with the VTC is not only about recruitment, but also a meaningful step toward our employer brand building and fulfilling our social responsibility. Through diverse engagement initiatives such as internships, VR interactive experiences, and career talks, students gain direct insight into how seriously we invest in talent development and support the growth of the younger generation.
We will continue to deepen our partnership with the VTC and other educational institutions, bringing more momentum to the lifts and escalators industry.
